Inspirational Snippet: Toss out Resolutions, Instead Make Your Dreams Come True

We are well into the New Year of 2016, but the first quarter isn't over yet.  Are you one of those people who started the new year out making resolutions, whether you put them on a list or they are compiled in your head?   Did you notice if your list was longer or shorter than the previous year's list? Or did you give on making a list this year?

Well...if you made a list, I say you just need to scrap them.  If you wrote out an actual list it may be best to crumble up the paper and toss it in the trash or better yet send it through the shredder.  You can’t do that you say?  You can’t believe I would ask such a thing?  You are shocked with my response, because isn’t that what the New Year is all about?  Resolving all the old and making it anew again?  Well the thing is we never really just do.  How many of you keep your resolutions?  How many of you feel guilty when you don’t follow through?  How many of you find that it is more difficult to wake up each day knowing you “failed” at it again? 

Every year we are guided to make plans to change and start over and when it comes to make a list of those changes, we find that we are lacking in something.  It is almost like we allow that to be the excuse and say to ourselves, that will be our new year’s resolution to make up for all that we have not accomplished.  I think this year you should make things different and I say this as we are getting ready to enter the March 8th New Moon and Eclipse.   This year January and February represented the closing of 2015. 

 

With the new Moon arriving, it really is an opportunity to choose your life and to begin the "new year".  I say this year just resolve one thing with yourself.  Of course this resolution is one we are supposed to be doing, are we not?  RESOLVE TO LIVE!  I mean really live.  Stop finding ways to beat yourself up.  Stop finding ways to compare to your neighbor, your friends and even your family.  Stop wishing things were different.  Stop competing for what you want.  Know that there is enough.  Know that the abundant flow comes from accepting you as you are.  Stop being afraid of life and just LIVE IT!

Make 2016 great—wow what a slogan…but really hear me.  The New Year couldn’t creep up on you if you are living in the moment.  The New Year can’t be anticipated if you are living in the moment.  It is not like the New Year won’t happen if you are too busy living your life to notice it being another year.  But the New Year will sweep you away this year if you are just being.    START LIVING IN THE NOW!  I find that we as a society spend so much time looking ahead at everyone else and what they think and what they believe that we forget to find what we believe.  I saw an ad on television saying lose weight for the swimsuit season?  When does your swimsuit season start?  I live in New England and our swimsuit season doesn’t begin until after Memorial Day and then it really doesn’t seem to happen until after school lets out.  Why are we so busy trying to make the future happen?  We are so busy “living in the future” that we forsake the many moments it takes to get us there. 

And if you are one of those people who spend more time in the past than in the future, has it helped to change your present moment?  If we are in the past, how do we see what is right before our eyes?  The past becomes more than just a way to view things; it also becomes a way to justify being stuck where we are.  Let’s get a clearer view of what we want by letting go of the past.

I think instead of making a list of all the things you would like to change about you, you should make a list of all the things you want to accomplish over this year, perhaps this lifetime.  I say you just start living right now.  Don’t do another thing, but just begin to live!  The list should be created with intention of doing those things; however, don’t create a plan of how and when, just make the list.  You can check the list periodically from time to time.  But don’t beat yourself up if it is not done in the time you would like.  Remember everything truly is given to us in divine timing and remember the closer we are to the divine the more likely we will understand.  Divinity is just a matter of opening up our spirits and trusting the universe.  Why not take the first step and trust the universe to help you make your dreams come true?

Moving from Fear to Love: A Snippet on Spirituality

I've been thinking a lot about Spirituality lately.  I have been moved in so many different directions over the last few years with my car accident.  In some ways, I feel like I am trying to regain my footing because I fell over the proverbial cliff into a land of pain, suffering, poverty and the like; while other ways, I feel like I have expanded far beyond where I used to be.  I guess really it all depends on how I am feeling in that moment and perhaps what is going on around me.  So recently, as you may or may not know, I have been really been pulled/pushed into the direction of the political world.  My higher self has nudged me through messages, dreams and the like to get active in the political realm and I am.   I notice I am feeling the excitement that I felt when I went to school for Political Science.   Well, with that excitement I started to think about spirituality and what it means in terms of politics, then I came across this quote by Brother David Steindl-Rast,

"Sometimes people get the mistaken notion that spirituality is a separate department of life, the penthouse of existence. But rightly understood, it is a vital awareness that pervades all realms of our being."

The journey of spirituality means that you are awake-- aware of your entire being! It means you are responsible for your choices and actions and understand the consequences as well as the beautiful benefits of those choices and actions. Spirituality means that you can move to the beat of your own drum while being a spark of light on this planet, and making choices to live life from a place of love while moving out of the fear.  What you learn is that the process of living from a place of love and moving out of fear is a continual process that you face/confront everyday in your daily existence. It isn't running and hiding behind some outside source when we don't want to take responsibility, or choosing to blame the circumstances and situations on someone else for what is happening.  It isn't something you can go to church to receive absolution for--and not something that you experience on the holidays to receive extra grace.  We have long been taught on this planet that our relationship with spirit/God/higher self (what ever words you choose to use) is outside ourselves, but Spirituality is who you are and the answers, God/Spirit/higher self are all inside of you.

Spirituality becomes an inherent part of who you are, in every way.  It is a place that you live from each day:that is you live from a place of love each day working to overcome the fear of your past and removing all blocks and obstacles. Having faith and trust in the unknown rather than fear it. It is a beautiful journey if we let it be that way.  

Do you consider yourself a spiritual being? Or a temporary spiritual being when the going gets tough? Meaning when things are bad you cling to a sense of love and work on releasing the fear, but when things seem to be going well, you let go of the tools or work you have been doing and forget that living spiritually means daily practice.

Or is it a lifestyle you choose? If it is a lifestyle that you choose it doesn't mean you have to give up the fun parts of your life--it means you have to give up the self-sabotage, the inner critic, the negative thinking, fearful living and making choices from what you have known versus choices based in faith and trust. Are you ready and willing to do that ? Have you recognized the power you have within you yet?

For me it is who I am, it is the lifestyle I choose in every moment,  I have to admit in some moments it is easier than others, but with practice, focus and vigilance--it is a lot easier.   Bringing us back around to why the universe is nudging me into politics at this time, most of you know my background is politics and well perhaps my past experience is for this very moment on the planet, in the United States where a Love Revolution is truly taking place. Either way, my Spirituality is fueling my decision to become involved.  As I mentioned above it is a part of everything I do/experience/feel humanly.  As long as I am in a physical body, I have to remember to take part in the human world too as it does directly affect me.  The beauty of this part of my journey is that I get to bring my Spirituality with me and not hide it away to fit in.  This is the time for the Light to shine.  I won't go on my rant about how I feel and why I feel the way I do, but I will offer you these two final things. Channel: Shine, Shine Shine

Dear Children of the light,

It is your time. You are here for the awakening for the earth. Your souls are ready. Are you ready dear ones? It is time to step out of the box that you have let yourself be guided in to. The earth is calling you forth to help her heal and bring about the changes in 

this world that are necessary. It is time to shine so brightly that people will stop and stare at you. Your fellow humans will be in awe of the beauty you exude when you walk upon the earth in light and in love. You are the ones you have been waiting for.  It is with love that we bring forward a message for your spirits. Shine Shine Shine. It is now that you are the beauty of all  there is . We love you dear children. It is painful for you to undergo the shifts from time to time, but we promise you that you will look back upon this time as it was well worth it;  to bring you to the next place. It is the time that the light will bring with it the blueprint of the new earth.  Did you know that you are getting a new earth? Well it is here ready and waiting for you.  It is now that you will see all that you have been waiting for all that you have worked for and all that you are manifesting. It is now that the light will shine so bright that even the darkened areas of your planet will begin to glow. 

The world is ready for this, are you each ready individually? We know the answer collectively is yes, and we applaud your choice and effort.  At this time we ask you, the beloved ground crew of light,  that is instrumental in the changes taking place on your planet,  to step up into your truth.  You have been in the dress rehearsal in the times coming up to this point on your planet, but now dear ones, the time has come and the dress rehearsal is over—it is now time for you to take center stage in the light and be who you are meant to be on this planet, in this timeline and dimension.  You have come to awaken all of humanity from the very slumber and malcontent it has so grown accustomed to.   

What is your role you ask?  It is to stand up for what you believe in, it is to leave the relationship, job, location that you have been feeling trapped in, it is all the things that your soul longs for, but your human ego has learned to feel restrained by . Again, you ask, how does that determine my role?  Well dear ones, perhaps leaving, changing and transforming is your role?  The quickest most productive way to raise your vibration is to leave circumstances that keep you in lower vibration.   When your vibration raises, it not only affects those around you, but the whole planet and its inhabitants.  So we say to you once again, shine, shine, shine.  It is time.  As more and more of you raise in vibration, you assist the planet to raise in vibration ultimately making it impossible to have the low vibrations near you such as fear, hate, anger, violence and more.  We wish to assist you in bringing in more light to you, your planet and its inhabitants, but we need you to make that possible for us by learning to overcome your fears of love, blocks to truth and  releasing patterns and behaviors that keep you stuck.   Know that we are always here ready to assist dear ones.

A Call to Action for the Light

Happy New Year America,

It is time for CHANGE!!!!

I have pondered a lot over the last couple weeks with regard to what is happening in the world around us and how much needs to be changed, but I also know there are a lot more of us out there that are desiring/manifesting/creating the changes we wish to see, but I feel we must help one another by coming together because doing it on our own is not as powerful as when it is amplified by the many. My human/educational background is in politics and my spiritual background is in energy healing and clearing. We are in 2015 and we are literally reliving the same earthly patterns that have transpired over and over again across our planet and some are exclusively tied to the country of origin that we live in.  This is ridiculous at best!  Something that hit me really hard recently about why there is so much anger/hatred in our world towards other people of different religion/gender/race/path/beliefs—I thought to myself how can anyone hate/torture/kill/degrade another human being. (I am being kind with my words today.)   Why is it that so many are so violent and so willing to follow along with violence? I often channel/teach/explain that all we want as humans is to feel safe and loved; thinking about that, I realize that the reason people behave in such way is that ultimately—they hate themselves.  I know hate is a strong, passion-filled word, but it is a strong, passion-filled response so many people have in their life whether is from anger/resentment/regret/trauma/pain/suffering/guilt/shame/fear etc.  Ultimately, it is what individuals feel toward themselves either out of feeling inadequate/unloved/unworthy in the eyes of their loved ones/society etc., feeling unsafe/insecure because of past trauma, feeling overwhelmed by what they have no control over and feeling fear of survival.  Since I work in energy, I can tell you that most of this is actually part of the person’s experiences on the planet in this lifetime, but it can also be part of their ancestral karma/DNA, geographical karma (their ethnicity/culture/country of origin), soul karma—these are the patternings/behaviors/experiences that they have come to learn about/overcome/change and create anew.   With that being said, I believe it is our job, the people who are awake and aware on the planet at this time,  to step up and change/transmute/clear/release those patterns for all of humanity. It cannot be done alone and it cannot be done if we don’t all choose to be the light that we are.  Yes, it is one thing to shine your light for all of humanity to see in your individual-ness, but it is time for us to come together and stand hand in hand and walk together for truth/love/harmony/peace/balance/freedom for all inhabitants of the planet.  I believe we must start locally with our presidency in America.  I believe that there  is a revolution on the rise, but it need not be a fight/violence filled/chaos, as we have learned from our mistakes as humanity, have we not?  From a Spiritual Perspective we need more love, light and connection to one another.  From a Human Perspective we need more love, light and connection to one another.  Then how does that happen?  We stop letting the prevailing energy out there be one of anger/violence/separation; instead we accomplish this through peace, education, healing and by all means standing together raising one another up human to human.  In my new year’s message to everyone, I shared the following:

“We are the light we have been waiting for…it is time for us to speak our truth, lead by way of doing and join in the energy that is building the momentum of change in our country, our planet. It is our time to shine our light for all to see and share our love for all to feel.”   The only candidate I see for Presidency, that is about Healing the Earth, Uniting ALL, Uplifting ALL and Creating an America I am proud to be  a part of, is Bernie Sanders.  I know people say that he is un-electable (that is only Mainstream Media by the way), here is the thing--he is only un-electable if you don't vote, don't take part in this process and by all means don't encourage those who only pay attention to mainstream media to vote for Bernie.  If you think it doesn’t directly affect you and you want no part of this “political system” then you are sadly mistaken---from a human/physical perspective realize that as long as you live in this country you are held to the laws of this country you are in; and for those of you who are lightworkers, from a spiritual/energetic perspective realize that every bit of energy around you impacts you—no matter how much you personally clear you, no matter how much you personally clear yourself—the energy is still around you and as long as we are all energetically connected to each other (and we are!) we are always being influenced by that energy.   It is time to stop fear/greed/violence/anger/control and bring back balance/peace/equality/harmony.   I implore you to take a look at the presidential primaries and not only vote for Bernie Sanders, but assist others trying to get him elected in other states.  Here is the one thing I love about Bernie—he speaks the truth, but not the truth you want to hear, the truth that he has lived all of his political life.  Just check out the information for yourself and you will see evidence of his work—well before he thought about running for President—believe me with Bernie Sanders it is not politics as usual and it is not the time to stay in the sidelines.  We have an opportunity to create a real change.  Yes, electing Bernie is only one step, but it is a step to show the powers that be that it is time for change!  No more of the same!

Final Day of 45 Day Journey

Happy Last Day of Class Everyone.

Imagine that this time tomorrow morning you woke up with everything you need and you didn’t have to do a thing other than go to sleep and wake up in the New Year?  Well, that is what you will have if you trust that everything you need is right there inside of you.  I know , I know some of you may be saying “I don’t have enough money to pay my bills.” Or  “I don’t have the love relationship I want.” Or  “I don’t have the health that I want.”  I hear you and I understand you loud and clear—believe me I have said those things and others too.  But what I know for certain is that the outside circumstances do not matter so much as what you are feeling inside of you.  Those of you following my journey must know that  it has been a constant struggle every day for me physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and even spiritually to maintain my beliefs because everything outside of me appeared as if it were against me; and believe me in many ways it was/is.  That being said, it was what I knew to be truth inside me that has kept me moving forward—surviving and not dive into a deep, dark depression when the reality is—it would be completely acceptable for me in a deep, dark space! The thing is that being in that energy for longer than a day or two is no longer in my DNA—not because someone removed it from me, but because I removed it from me several years ago when I began this journey of infusing myself with more light and more healing and definitely doing the work to fall in love with myself, connect with my inner little girl to find her needs and embracing change/my path rather than resisting it.   I changed my DNA and you can change yours too.  The one thing I learned over the last few years was another dimensional level of healing that has given me the opportunity to clear from my Ancestral, Geographical and Soul Lineages as well as my expanded soul groups.  It takes time to heal and remove pain, but it doesn’t have to! 

Take some time today to contemplate this past year, I know for many it has been difficult—and for myself included I started 2015 off in a hospital with my back in horrible pain, but even with that—I had a pretty amazing year.  I would say write in your journal for yourself, but some of you resist the writing of experiences, but I feel it may truly assist you to write down your experiences and really see what your year was like—a life review perhaps.  It will show you how far you have come even when things do not look as good as you would like them to.  This will help put you into a better energy before you decide to think about what you wish to create in the new year.   Every year, I write out a list of things (everything I wish to do) I would like to manifest, and that list is as long as the age I am.  This new year, I will be 44 I March so my list will have 44 things, some may be simple to attain while others may seem like a dream, but I believe they are all possible.  If you have watched my journey, you know that many things have happened to me that are unbelievable!!  (One day I will write more about that!)

I’d like to end today’s class with a few thoughts for you to ponder…

Are you willing to commit yourself to Love - the infinite presence of Spirit in your soul?

Getting in touch with the love within you is the most important step you can take on your spiritual journey. It will also be your most rewarding. Being in touch with the love within allows you to be accepting, understanding of yourself and others, vulnerable when you need to be. It allows you to look at your shadow and heal yourself while being supported by the love of Spirit and the soul within. It allows you to be truly who you are.     

Every guru of this earthly time that has the ability to channel and receive guidance about life on earth; has imprinted that this year is the time for the embodiment of our “Christed-Self”, that is the Christ Consciousness the energy of Love, Miracles and Blessing will be bestowed upon us because access to these things increases with your vibration. I echo that as well. I know I am ready to allow mine in, but I also know that it is not without work. But not work in the way we think of work; instead, it is about how we use what we have learned about living life in this time on our planet. It could mean going against what we used to know, leaving our comfort zone and entering unchartered territory.

Is this something you are ready to do? Are you willing to give up your attachment to how things have always been and see real miracles in your life and allow the blessings of abundance to fall upon you? If so, then this is the year for you to change your life to the one you really want to be living. Let go of the attachment to how things have been or how you think they should be.  Let things/experiences be just what they are supposed to be---just what they are in this moment. Stay in each moment as best as you can and don't cloud your mind with distractions and useless clutter, instead allow yourself to face things in your life as they may happen. We’ve allowed so much to clutter us and prevent us from going forward.  It is time to be present in our life, our community and the global world around us.  We are the light we have been waiting for…tt is time for us to speak our truth, lead by way of doing and join in the energy that is building the momentum of change in our country, our planet.  It is our time!
